GEOTHERMAL

We specialize in geothermal systems for heating and/or cooling. Having been involved in several projects of significant power and combining heat recovery technologies, multifunctional systems and management of complex hydraulic reversals. We have modeled and then measured and analyzed the operating efficiency of the systems and are able to design geothermal systems with a very high degree of efficiency that make them in most cases the undisputed leader in heating and cooling systems.

Geothermal is the most efficient and sustainable solution in seaside resorts where the water extraction is at a very shallow depth, the amount of water is inexhaustible and thermal saturation is zero.
Especially in seaside resorts, cooling loads are very high and for several months of the year. The constant temperature of the tap water in contrast to the very high temperatures of the air make the geothermal system particularly competitive.
At the same time, with water-cooled heat pumps it is significantly more efficient to exploit waste heat through heat recovery (usually total) for heating swimming pools, spa pools, preparing domestic hot water or simply feeding it to other water-cooled heat pumps.
The geothermal solution is characterized by uninterrupted operation as it is not affected by external factors (air temperature), does not have performance fluctuations, does not create visual and/or sound nuisance, does not drop performance due to wear and tear such as corrosion of alternators from sea spray in air-cooled, the equipment is fully protected, in accessible areas for easy inspection and maintenance and has an increased life cycle.
The ecological footprint of geothermal is the smallest as the machines have a small footprint for their construction, they have small amounts of refrigerant, they have a very high degree of efficiency and an increased lifetime.

HYDRONIC DESIGN – PIPING

We have special expertise from the detailed design, the selection of materials, the execution of the works and the commissioning of complex hydraulic circuits of high demands. We seek the best performance in the system and this is ensured by the careful and detailed design that complies with all the necessary norms, the careful selection of materials based on specifications, the quality installation of the networks, the correct placement of the components and the intended adjustment of the operation of the equipment.

Our constant presence on the projects and insistence to make the electronic design to the maximum extent is the best experience that creates the bridge between designer and contractor. This experience enables us to properly coordinate and control the entire process with full feedback to the manufacturing requirements from the design and vice versa the design requirements to the manufacturing.

We support turnkey projects with our own subcontractors or we can offer you all engineering services from zero to delivery and also project monitoring.

To calculate the systems we use specialized software, specially developed algorithms, climatic data from locally installed weather stations, equipment simulation software and performance/condition calculation algorithms. We adopt operating scenarios based on international standards but adapted and based on our practical experience in real data.

For the design of the systems, after the selection of the equipment, we proceed to the mapping of the space and/or the existing networks-equipment, and then follows the detailed 3D CAD design with manufacturing detail and an accurate list of materials, parts and accessories.
